Author (A Foster Kid’s Tale, and, It Turns Out Healing Is A Hike), advocate, entrepreneur, and podcast host. Clara’s work blends creativity and purpose to spark dialogue and drive meaningful impact.

Melanie Mark
Former politician, Melanie, created the Provincial Tuition Waiver Program and broadened access to literacy, language learning, and post‑secondary education. She championed the establishment of UVic’s Indigenous Law program and centre, advancing Indigenous legal education and reconciliation.

Creative changemaker and founder of You 2 Know, Shay amplifies community voices, breaks cycles, and drives lasting change.

Expert in youth engagement, youth criminal justice, and founder of a specialized residential resource for children entering foster care. Stephanie also leads Stockings of Care, providing holiday stockings to 100 youth every Christmas.

Founder of Starlings Community, registered nurse, and community changemaker, Agnes advances health and collective strength through lived experience.

Creative storyteller, poet, and documentarian with five decades in Child and Youth Care, Penny founded Zine&Heard to amplify the voices of people in and from foster care.
